The QualiSearch Journal of Philippine Languages and Culture (QJPLC) is a forthcoming peer-reviewed open-access academic journal dedicated to the publication of original, rigorous, and interdisciplinary scholarly works focusing on Philippine languages, literature, communication, heritage, identity, indigenous knowledge systems, and cultural studies. The journal aims to serve as a scholarly platform for researchers, educators, writers, linguists, cultural workers, graduate students, and practitioners committed to advancing and preserving the linguistic and cultural heritage of the Philippines.
Published by QualiSearch Academic Press under the QualiSearch Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Development, QJPLC promotes ethical, accessible, and culturally responsive scholarly communication that supports language preservation, cultural sustainability, indigenous scholarship, and interdisciplinary Philippine studies.

The QualiSearch Journal of Philippine Languages and Culture (QJPLC) is currently accepting original scholarly manuscripts for its forthcoming inaugural issue.
Researchers, educators, writers, linguists, graduate students, cultural workers, and practitioners are invited to submit scholarly works related to Philippine languages, literature, cultural studies, indigenous knowledge systems, communication, heritage preservation, and interdisciplinary Philippine scholarship.
Submissions written in English, Filipino, and other Philippine languages may be considered subject to editorial and peer review standards.
Accepted manuscript types include:
original research articles,
review papers,
theoretical and conceptual papers,
methodological studies,
case studies,
literary and cultural analyses,
and scholarly perspectives.

QJPLC supports open-access scholarly publishing to ensure that Philippine language and cultural research remains freely accessible to researchers, educators, institutions, cultural communities, policymakers, and the public worldwide. All published articles will be made openly available online without subscription barriers to promote wider dissemination, scholarly engagement, cultural preservation, and evidence-informed cultural and linguistic scholarship.
QJPLC charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of ₱5,000 per accepted manuscript.
The APC supports:
peer review management,
editorial processing,
digital publication,
DOI registration,
and publication maintenance.
Payment is required only after formal acceptance.
There are no submission fees.
Payment does not guarantee manuscript acceptance and does not influence editorial decisions.
Authors interested in publishing in QJPLC are encouraged to review the journal’s submission guidelines, formatting requirements, and editorial policies prior to submission.
Submitted manuscripts must:
align with the journal’s aims and scope,
demonstrate originality and scholarly rigor,
adhere to ethical research standards,
and follow the prescribed formatting and citation requirements.
All submissions undergo editorial screening and double-blind peer review prior to publication consideration.

The editorial board of QJPLC is currently being finalized and will consist of qualified scholars, educators, linguists, cultural workers, researchers, writers, and practitioners representing diverse areas of specialization within Philippine languages, literature, communication, and cultural studies.

The inaugural issue of QJPLC is currently in preparation and will feature peer-reviewed scholarly works addressing contemporary themes in Philippine languages, literature, culture, identity, heritage preservation, multilingualism, and interdisciplinary Philippine studies.
