Peer Review Process

Editorial Authority

The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to refine language, correct formatting, and improve structure (without altering the substance) to ensure clarity, coherence, and consistency across QJERP publications.

Please note that it is a standard editorial practice in reputable journals for titles to be refined during the copyediting and review process prior to publication. Such adjustments are intended to improve clarity, ensure consistency with journal style, and optimize discoverability in indexing services, without altering the substance of your research. Publishers such as Frontiers explicitly note that editors may propose title revisions to enhance readability and indexing (Frontiers, 2023), Springer Nature acknowledges that copyeditors may adjust titles to align with house style and improve discoverability (Springer Nature, 2021), and Taylor & Francis emphasizes the importance of title refinement as part of the editorial process (Taylor & Francis, 2022). Authors concerned about university requirements for thesis or dissertation publication are assured that such refinements do not affect the validity of their work for graduation purposes, as authorship, and substantive content remain unchanged; universities typically recognize that published versions may differ slightly in title or format, and cross-referencing between the thesis/dissertation and the published article is acceptable.

Policy on AI Use

In line with global best practices (Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Wiley):

Disclaimer: QJERP may provide editorial improvements to manuscripts. However, the accuracy and ethical integrity of all published work remain the sole responsibility of the author(s). QJERP reserves the right to reject, retract, or request corrections for any violation.
